I realize that this is a serious situation, impacting many, but I'm going to have to stop listening to the media coverage of the pending teachers' job action in good old BC.
This morning, Bill Good was interviewing BCTF President Jinny Sims on Vancouver's CKNW radio station. During the interview Ms Sims equated the possible illegal teacher's strike in this province with the kind of social action undertaken by reformers like Nora (sic) Parks (click the play button below to here this prattle).
Not since the NHL strike/lockout where Trevor Linden compared hockey players to surgeons have I heard such nonsense.
UNBELIEVABLE

Ok, thanks for blogging that Geo; I'm sure that quote won't be something I'll read or hear about in the morning. Glad to hear it here. What was the host's reaction? That is truly terrifying; and every member of the union should be screaming for her resignation. Find another leader to face off with the government. Whoever it is, they ain't gonna win - this province's tactics lately reming me alot of Klein's Alberta in the late 80's, early nineties. Look how they're placed now, we need to learn to accept the at times tough growing pains; and not bring Ms Parks and the bus into it.
Bill Good didn't really respond too much to these comments. I think he was too shocked to say anything. In fact, a minute or so after she made this outrageous comparison he flubbed a commercial intro for World Book Encyclopedia.
This is one stupid fucking woman. Even before I heard this insane bullshit I knew she's an idiot. She's a horrible person to be the spokesperson. She can't improvise anything right. How do morons like this get put in such positions? Their union deserves any bad that happens to them just for the fact they've chosen her to represent them. Nora? What the fuck? WHAT THE FUCK?
The fact of the matter is that grade school is just a time killer. Sure it is useful for giving kids the basics, such as reading and writing skills; but, grade school doesn't do anything to teach kids how to think.
I need a radio show so I can put fucks like this in their place. Seriously, WHAT THE FUCK?!!??
Eazy E put it best in the late '80s:
"I'm tired of the motherfucking jacking."
I know, you all thought I was going to quote "All bitches ain't shit."
