or alternatively, is the typical audience of CBC Radio One a bunch of aging baby boomers?

Recently switched from listening to a Vancouver news/talk station in the mornings back to CBC Radio One. One show,
The National Playlist, has panel members making pitches for songs to be included in a national "top ten" list that changes based on audience feedback.
Anyhow, the top ten list this week is composed of a couple of new songs (with release dates this century) but the average age of the top ten songs is
18.5 years. Does this not tell you something about CBC's demographics?
